Denisson Energy, a member of Antares Group, and the Natural Gas Vehicles Association – NGVA Romania will present CNG Romania project at the Bucharest International Motor Show – SIAB 2018, from March 23 to April 1st. Participating in this event is part of the project’s promotion and dissemination activities, presenting optimal solutions for switching from traditional fuels to alternative fuels and their significant benefits.
Displaying in an exhibition stand of compressed natural gas as an alternative solution to traditional fuels is a first in Romania. In a friendly setting, at stand 5b in the B2 pavilion, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the future public stations of the CNG Romania network and will be offered information on the project’s objectives, the location of the stations, the status of each station, etc.
Inside the stand, as an example of good practice on conversion to the bi-fuel gasoline-CNG system, one will notice the first car converted in our country to be fuelled with compressed natural gas and extremely attractive conversion solutions. The project partners will bring enough arguments in favor of CNG vehicles.
Also at SIAB 2018, the Conference “National and Local Programs for the Reduction of Pollution”, will start at 10:00 on March 28, and it will be hosted by Virgil Madgearu Hall in the B3 Pavilion. Within the Conference, Mr. Dumitru Becşenescu, the President NGVA Romania, will deliver the presentation on “Compressed natural gas – the viable green mobility solution. The importance of the CNG Romania project in the context of domestic and international trends”.

About CNG Romania:
The project implemented by Denisson Energy and the NGV Romania Natural Gas Association, within the Connection Europe Facility (CEF), aims to implement the first network of filling stations for compressed natural gas vehicles in Romania along the pan-European corridors.
The EUR 5.2 million project benefits from an EU co-financing of 85% and aims, among other things, to decarbonise and improve mobility in Europe by placing the first CNG network in Romania on the central axis of the main TEN-T road transport corridors linking the EU Center and the West with the South-West and the Black Sea states, Constanţa being the end point of the corridor.
