Το συμπιεσμένο φυσικό αέριο ή CNG, είναι αέριο υπό πίεση, το οποίο είναι:

  • Καθαρό – το πεπιεσμένο φυσικό αέριο (CNG) είναι το πιο καθαρό εναλλακτικό καύσιμο. Τα μεταφορικά μέσα (NGV) εκπέμπουν μέχρι 30% λιγότερα αέρια του θερμοκηπίου, απ’ ό,τι τα μεταφορικά μέσα βενζίνης και πετρελαίου.
  • Φθηνό – Η χρήση φυσικού αερίου ως καύσιμο μειώνει τα έξοδα σημαντικά για τους ιδιοκτήτες μεταφορικών μέσων. Το φυσικό αέριο είναι κατά μέσο όρο 40 – 60% πιο φθηνό απ’ ό,τι το πετρέλαιο ή τη βενζίνη (ανάλογα με τις εγχώριες αγορές).
  • Ασφαλές – το φυσικό αέριο δεν είναι τοξικό και διαχέεται γρήγορα. Έχει υψηλότερη θερμοκρασία ανάφλεξης συγκριτικά με τη βενζίνη και το πετρέλαιο, κάτι που μειώνει τις πιθανότητες τύχαίας ανάφλεξης.
  • Αθόριβο – οι κινητήρες φυσικού αερίου είναι κατά 50% πιο αθόριβα συγκριτικά με τις κινητήρες βενζίνης και πετρελαίου.
  • Διαθέσιμα τώρα – σε 32 ευρωπαϊκές χώρες – 2.914 αντλίες.

    Please make a correction (and note everyone) in the map to save some time for the travelers leaning on the data in this site.

    The Thessaloniki cng pump on the Leoforos Georgikis Scholis road is 1,2 km down the road. It’s is marked as Eko Cng, not SHELL as is stands now (5th july 2016).

    I have checked Anthoussa (accurate – bettier than Fisikon’s map!), Lamia (accurate).

    I WOULD ADVISE NO ONE TO BUY A CAR WITH CNG. IT IS MORE TROUBLE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE.
    I LIVE NOW IN CRETE WITH NO STATIONS SELLING CNG WHICH IS NO PROBLEM BUT KTEO WILL NOT DO THE MOT WITHOUT THE CNG SYSTEM BEING REMOVED BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE IN GREECE TO CHECK THE BOTTLES.
    MY BOTTLES END 2028.
    HERE I AM AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM OF KTEO NOT BEING ABLE TO CHECK BOTTLES SO NO MOT AND CANNOT HAVE SYSTEM REMOVED AS WAS FACTORY FITTED IN ITALY.
    DONT BUY A CNG CAR UNTIL LAWS CHANGE AND KTEO CAN PASS THE CARS.
