The CNG station in Käerjeng was closed and dismantled in August 2018. This closing is the consequence of the decision taken by the Government of Luxembourg of closing all the CNG pumps, but the one in Merl and the one in Findel.

CNG is no longer available in the Shifflange station, nor at the Kaerjeng one either. DO NOT BOTHER DRIVING THERE AS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

Today, 29th of May 2019, the CNG pump of Aral Remerschen has been closed and will not serve natural gas anymore. The CNG pump will be fully dismantled by engineers within two months. This is in line with policy of the Luxembourgish Government to leave only two CNG pumps working in Luxembourg, in Aral Merl and Aral Findel.

I want to say that tonite I was driver number 32 trying to get natural gas in Aral Remerschen. I was told by the cashier that there was demand enough for CNG, with a lot of daily drivers from Germany and France that work everyday in Luxembourg, to keep the CNG pump working and that the decision to close the CNG pumps in Luxembourg is only political.

The CNG pump in Aral Lintgen closed on 31st May 2019 and will not be put in service again. The pump will be fully dismantled within the next two months. This is in line with the policy of the Luxembourgish Government of closing all the CNG stations, but the ones in Merl and Findel as a push to promote the electric car. Don’t go there. You will find no natural gas.

The two remaining CNG stations in Luxembourg will closed end of March 2023. There were the last CNG stations open in the country. It’s a shame

As of the 30th of March 2023 there is no CNG in Luxembourg. The popular initiative to request the Parlament to keep one CNG station open in Luxembourg failed. However, it is possible to get CNG at the Belgian border in several places. It is also possible to tank with CNG in Merzig and Trier in Germany. Unfortunately, the CNG station in Thionville (France) has closed. Now the closest CNG station in France are Lexy and Hauconcourt. Nevertheless, the CNG station at Ibingen (Aubange), at the Belgian border, is probably closer than going to France to tank CNG.
